Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Hatching Eggs
Purebred Laced Red Wyandotte hatching eggs. Collected daily and stored in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment for no more than seven days.
This line has some of the friendliest birds we've ever kept! I thought the Silkies were docile... but these Wyandottes are so tame and sweet. The rooster is very well-mannered and non-aggressive. And I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of eggs we're getting from the hens. They have really captured our hearts and quickly become our favorite chicken breed.
Please know that laced red Wyandottes follow an incompletely dominant mode of inheritance. If you are familiar with the breeding of blue/black/splash birds, these are genetically the same in many ways. While our crosses are set up to maximize the number of blue-laced red chicks, there is also a possibility of splash-laced red and black-laced red hatchlings as well. They are all purebred laced red Wyandottes, but blue, black, and splash are simply different colors of the breed.
